On Tuesday, November 3, the Republican Party suffered its worst midterm defeat in recent memory. Some have called it an “extinction-level event,” a label which is not without its merit when applied to the sclerotic Republican establishment, mired as it is in endless corruption and false principles. Perhaps nowhere was the loss more devastating than in Ohio. Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy, a practicing Hindu and Indian “paper American” who was committed to promoting the Masonic and Liberal principles of American conservatism, was the Republican candidate for the gubernatorial election in The Buckeye State. Ramaswamy lost to Democrat Amy Acton 52-44, dragging Republicans on the ballot down with him to an almost shocking extent, thereby squandering what should have been an easy victory given that President Trump carried the state in the previous presidential races by wide margins.
