Integrity Magazine – Transalpine Redemptorists’ founder consecrated bishop: ‘Leave behind the new church’

On Saturday, July 25, the feast of St. James, the scattered sheep’s campaign to reclaim ground from the Synodal hirelings reached yet another confrontational milestone with the episcopal consecration of the Most Reverend Michael Mary Sim, F.SS.R., at Golgotha Monastery on the island of Papa Stronsay. Not only did those involved draw a clear line in the sand with this act, but the occasion also marked a significant moment in the colorful history of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer, who earlier this year broke all ties with Rome.

Bishop Michael Mary, 73, was consecrated by Bishop Pierre Roy of the Canadian-based Our Lady of Joy Mission. Roy served as the main consecrator while Bishop Rodrigo Ribeiro da Silva and Bishop Fernando Altamira were co-consecrators.
