Radical Fidelity – Death to Catholic Orthodoxy as Leo XIV’s Address to Theologians Encourages Them to “Do it Together” in a “Synodal Style”

Leo XIV’s address (in full at the bottom of the article) to the Pugliese Theological Faculty and the Calabrian Theological Institute on Monday (March 2) does not bode well for whatever grain of orthodox Catholic theology remains in the Synodal Church.>The leader of the Synodal Religion’s repeated calls to “do theology together” were a clear indication that the faithful should flee in the opposite direction. Over and over we have seen that if any post-conciliar prelate, member of the clergy, or theologian starts wanting to “do anything together,” be it theology or Church, the only thing a Catholic should do is run. This “doing” is basically code for saying we are all going to sit around and wait for the fuzzy feelies to take hold of us, “listen” to each other (and heretics, schismatics, and practitioners of false religions), “journey” together, and then come up with something new that has zero to do with the Catholic faith. The Synodal recipe for disaster.>And Prevost did not disappoint on Monday.
