Radical Fidelity – Synodal Rome Demands SSPX Suspends Decision to Continue with Episcopal Consecrations

And so the ecclesial drama of the year got underway in all earnestness earlier today, with Cardinal Victor Manuel “Heal-me-with-your-mouth” Fernández making the first demand on behalf of the Modernist cabal occupying Rome.>In a statement released by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, headed by Fernández, it is said that “a cordial and sincere meeting took place at the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith between the Prefect, His Eminence Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández, and the Superior General of the SSPX, Rev. D. Davide Pagliarani, with the approval of the Holy Father Leo XIV.”>The Dicastery’s statement warns that episcopal consecrations without papal mandate would constitute a decisive rupture in ecclesial communion and carry grave canonical consequences.

Radical Fidelity – Why the German Synodal Conference’s Latest Anti-Catholic Decision Should Not Be Dismissed as Isolated Extremism

“Cardinal” Reinhard Marx.

An article which appeared on Infovaticana earlier this week, reports that the German Synodal Conference has approved the creation of a new lunatic mechanism intended to monitor how bishops implement resolutions arising from the German Synodal Path.>According to the report, dioceses would be required to document which synodal decisions have or have not been implemented, and bishops would need to explain themselves before the Synodal Conference.>The vote approving this mechanism was controversial: only 21 bishops voted in favor out of 47 present, and the procedure reportedly counted abstentions as not affecting the two-thirds threshold, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the result. Even Cardinal Reinhard Marx is said to have objected strongly, rejecting the idea of an oversight structure that could function as a “higher authority” over diocesan bishops.

Radical Fidelity – Did the Vatican Just Launch Another Attack on Our Lady?

The newly promulgated statutes of the Pontifical International Marian Academy, effective February 1 and published on February 7, should anger the faithful, as they seem to be yet another subtle attack on the Church’s perennial Marian patrimony.>The document includes the usual synodal garbage of “balance,” “dialogue,” and “intercultural encounter,” but what is more concerning is its stated aim of avoiding so-called “maximalism” in Marian devotion. This seems to be a sly attempt to cast suspicion on what has always been considered authentic Catholic piety. St. Louis Marie de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, and St. Alphonsus Liguori repeatedly argued that we cannot revere the Blessed Virgin “too much,” since devotion to her always leads to Our Lord Jesus Christ.>From its founding under Father Carlo Balić, the Academy existed explicitly to promote the excellence of Mariology and to foster Marian devotion as an organic expression of the sensus fidelium. Its original mandate presumed that Marian doctrine and devotion grow together, as they always have within the Church’s Tradition, from Ephesus through the dogmatic definitions of the Immaculate Conception and the Assumption, down to the flourishing of Marian shrines and popular piety across the centuries.

Radical Fidelity – Jesuit uses Call for Unity with False Religion as Occasion to Label Traditional Catholics as “Idealogues” and “Theologically Unsophisticated”

I don’t have any idea why, but for the longest time I thought the National Catholic Register wasn’t as bad as the National Catholic Reporter.>I refuse to even refer to the National Catholic Reporter as a Catholic publication, lumping it into the same cesspool category as Religion Digital and Where Peter Is. But, like I say, due to some glitch in the fabric of reality, I thought the Register was slightly more palatable than the Reporter.>That was until a few days ago, when, slightly gorged on news about the SSPX consecrations, I decided to go clean my palate somewhere else than the usual sources I frequent. Suffice it to say, I discovered that cleaning your palate with the Register is like licking the bowl of a public toilet. Maybe I am harsh in my judgement of the Register but I came to this conclusion after I read two articles by Larry Chapp that confirmed his post-conciliar modernist clown status. I mean, let’s face it—even his name sounds like that of a third-rate comedian in a cheap suit telling humorless jokes somewhere in an air-conditionless bar in Las Vegas. I am not even going to discuss them here, but trust me when I say that if you want confirmation that the post-conciliar religion is not only poison to your soul but clearly also to your intellect, you will find the proof in Chapp’s two articles (here and here).

Radical Fidelity – A Short Defense of Catholic Integralism

The Disputation of the Most Holy Sacrament (Italian: La disputa del sacramento), painted by Raphael between 1509–1510.

The oh-so liberal and “sophisticated” modern Catholic, never mind the woke secular atheist out there, will scoff at the philosophy of Catholic Integralism, dismissing it as a political eccentricity or a nostalgic longing for a vanished medieval past.>The truth is, or at least should be for the Traditional Catholic, that it is a coherent doctrine grounded in the Church’s perennial teaching on man, society, and the final end of human life.>I would echo Theo Howard of The Two Cities podcast by saying that the only problem with Catholic Integralism is the label itself. This nomenclature implies it is a philosophy or a school of thought amongst many, whereas it is the Catholic way of ordering politics, society, culture and the individual, and therefor not optional.

Radical Fidelity – Interview With SSPX Superior General Fails to Address the Real Problem

The person or persons behind the Unam Sanctam Catholicam blog made me smile yesterday with their post on Facebook, which ended with the following piece of prophetic wisdom regarding the announced SSPX consecrations:>>“…the only thing that is absolutely certain is that we will all have to endure months of hearing everyone’s retarded-ass opinions on the matter.”

Radical Fidelity – Video: Kokx News & Radical Fidelity Break Down the SSPX’s Upcoming Consecrations

On February 2, the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin, the Reverend Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), announced during the cassock‑taking ceremony at the International Seminary of Saint‑Curé‑d’Ars in Flavigny‑sur‑Ozerain, France, that he has decided to entrust the bishops of the Society with the task of proceeding with new episcopal consecrations in July.>The announcement sent shockwaves throughout the Catholic world and set tongues wagging.>Stephen Kokx of Kokx News and I sat down to discuss the news: the pros and cons of the intended consecrations, their potential impact on the Traditional Catholic landscape, Trad, Inc., sedevacantism, the faithful, and several related topics.

Radical Fidelity – Why I Prefer Modernist Rome’s Disapproval of SSPX Consecrations Rather than its Approval

The 1988 Consecrations (Image: FSSPX)

I am fully aware that what I am about to say will be deeply unpopular with many, but please bear with me.>The Society of Saint Pius X’s announcement on February 2 of its intention to consecrate new bishops on July 1 without papal mandate has become the talk of Catholic town.>On the one hand, we have the Mike Lewises of the world, baying for the blood of the Society with their predictable cries of schism and excommunication. Yawn. Go fast or something, Mike.

Radical Fidelity – BREAKING: SSPX’s Announcement of New Consecrations Once Again Exposes the Abomination in Rome

Earlier today (February 2, 2026), on the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), publicly announced the Society’s intention to proceed with new episcopal consecrations on July 1, 2026.>Citing a “grave necessity” in the Church and the failure of dialogue with Rome, the SSPX once again prepares to take an extraordinary step outside the ordinary structures of ecclesiastical governance.>While the Society presents this decision as an act undertaken “without any spirit of rebellion” and for the good of souls, the announcement itself reveals the profound and unresolved disaster of the post–Vatican II Church.
