Pagliarani’s letter regarding the proposed “dialogue” with the Vatican.>“Fr. Kokx News – BREAKING: Viganò Urges SSPX To Cut Off ‘Dialogue’ With Fernandez, Proceed With Consecrations

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has issued a statement responding to a press release issued earlier today by Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez.>After noting the “pain and indignation” he felt while reading Fernandez’s communique — which demanded the SSPX abandon plans for consecrations on July 1 — His Excellency urged the Society to reject “dialogue” that “assumes that the Second Vatican Council is compatible with Tradition” and to follow in the footsteps of its founder.>“The Society of Saint Pius X does not need the permission of those who have abjured the Faith in order to accomplish what Providence asks of it, namely: to perpetuate the episcopal line faithful to Tradition,” Viganò commented Thursday evening. “True ecclesial communion is not measured by canonical recognition granted by a Hierarchy that has lost the Faith, but by integral fidelity to divine Revelation.”
