I often use the phrase “usurpation begets usurpation”. This is in reference to my view that expecting 60-odd years of false popes to suddenly produce a good, orthodox pope is illogical. Of course, the very fact that there has been a succession of false popes is pretty indicative that we are no longer dealing with the true Catholic Church, but rather a “bodysnatcher” religion, to borrow a term from pop culture. The body that has been snatched, so to speak, is the material infrastructure, name, designations, bank accounts, property, vestments, etc., which formerly belonged to the Catholic Church founded by Christ. Within this body, an alien, false religion and its devotees are now operating.
