On Sunday, the Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner Bo French posted an image on social media of a crowd of University of Texas fans, most of them East Asian Indians, saying, “The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined.” French’s observation was in reference to the rapidly changing demographics in the Lone Star state, which he confessed he had under-appreciated. “I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn’t believe it.”
