A retired German priest, Father Winfried Abel, found himself in hot water for speaking the truth and acting like a Catholic priest.Abel, an 87-year-old priest of the German Synodal Diocese of Fulda, is in trouble after publicly condemning Germany’s annual “Christopher Street Day” (CSD) celebrations (Pride celebrations) and saying that Christians should see the recent Islamist terrorist attack on July 25 at Berlin’s Pride event as a call to repentance.At the event in question, an assailant drove a vehicle into participants before allegedly continuing the attack with a bladed weapon. Tragically, one woman was killed and dozens of others were injured. German authorities described the attack as having an Islamist motive.
