I have an honest and sincere question. Literally not a day goes by when you consult any Catholic news platform without encountering a whole barrage of dispatches from the synodal wasteland about the latest scandals. It is daily, if not hourly, by now.>For a Catholic commentator, and more importantly, as a watchman and my brother’s keeper, the garbage born from the false religion nesting in Rome comes like an overwhelming deluge. Some days I hardly know what to report on and what to leave out. >So here is my question. Or rather, my questions. If you are a follower of this new religion—or worse, one of its promoters—how do you explain it all away? How do you defend it? How do you sleep at night? How do you keep telling yourself it is Catholicism? How do you convince yourself, and those in your care, that Christ is pleased by it?
